Development of product, process and location strategies; operations layout; work measurement, productivity, learning curves; procurement methods; aggregate planning; inventory models, just-in-time methods; material requirements planning; total quality management, teamwork and quality control techniques; maintenance strategy. Issues related to international production. Team projects including on-site tours, case analysis, design of original POM strategy and operations simulation; written and oral reports.
