Prerequisite: ARTZ 330. Advanced Painting continues the acquisition of technical skills and builds on the notion of relational thinking introduced in Painting I and II, while focusing more fully on the evolution of the individual investigation in the student's work. This investigation is comprised of the exploration and critique of personal and/or cultural ideologies, beliefs, and interests through the activity of painting and reflection on the results and their implications.
