Prerequisite: ARTZ 240. This course focuses on wheel throwing techniques. Although this course explores both functional and sculptural applications of the wheel, most demonstrations will revolve around the processes of making functional pots. Students will be expected to develop the skills necessary to throw large pots, lids, handles and spouts in order to make functional vessels.
