The primary goal of this course is to teach students to be effective respondents to the thinking and writing of others. Students keep journals, write analytical papers, explore writing across the disciplines, observe and practice peer tutoring, and critique professional literature related to tutoring writing. Normally a three-credit course but can be designed as a two-credit course. Required for student writing assistants working in the Center for Writing and Thinking. (F/S)
