2 semester hours (90 hours of clinical per semester) This course focuses on the role of the home care nurse in applying the theories of family-focused care throughout the lifespan. Students will experience the clinical roles related to family health promotion and chronic disease management in the home setting. Case management and analysis of the models in home care systems will be explored. Prerequisite: All 100- 200- and 300-level nursing courses. Co-requisites: NS 430.
