1 hour. ( Capstone) Students will write an exit paper concerning their close reading of a short text (poem, short story, one-act play) that they have not studied in a class. At least one week before the end of the semester, students will present their papers to the English faculty at an oral defense. Enrollment is restricted to seniors earning a BA in English or a BS in Middle School Language Arts. Fall and Spring
