3 hours. This course will focus on the identification, development, and growth of the entrepreneur and the firm within the free enterprise system. Students will explore small business in terms of risk, difficulties, achievement, orientation, rewards, and satisfaction. Operating problems within selected business opportunities at varying stages of growth and development will be discussed. Students will have the opportunity to interact with entrepreneurs in the classroom and in the actual work environment. Prerequisite: BU110 or ET375 and Junior Standing.
