Topics include investigation of the origin and evolution of life, speciation, ecosystems, photosynthesis, metabolism, organ systems, neurons, sensory reception, immunology and animal behavior. The laboratory portion of the course provides a survey of the kingdom of living organisms. Prerequisite: BI101. 3 lectures, 2 laboratory hours.
