Attention is given to the use of written discourse between teacher and students and among students to develop and extend students' understanding of the discipline; various student groupings; different learning styles; instructional activities designed to sharpen skills of critical analysis; and using a variety of assessments to monitor learning and make instructional decisions.(2 credits)
