In this course, students study in depth the design, analysis, and implementation of efficient algorithms to solve a variety of fundamental problems. The limits of tractable computation and techniques that can be used to deal with intractability are also covered. Prerequisites: CS 174, CS 175, CS 271, and junior/senior status.(4 credits)
