A course that emphasizes effective teaching, introducing a variety of instructional techniques whereby students design lessons to connect learning to life experiences and future careers, use management strategies, and apply recent research, media, and technology to the classroom. A grade of "B" or better in thisclass is required for program progression in the Teacher Education Program. The Praxis I (PPST) examination must be taken as part of the course requirements.
