These courses are designed to offer a student the opportunity to gain knowledge and/or experience in a specialized area or subject not otherwise covered in the curriculum. The subject and its treatment must be derived from consultation between the individual student and the instructor. All special topic proposals must be approved by the School Dean. The amount of credit granted depends upon the nature of the project undertaken and the length of time of the experience.
