(all PreK endorsements) (4) This course presents theoretical, philosophical and researched foundational information for integrated, child-centered, constructivist curriculum development emphasizing experiences which develop language, cognitive, motor, affective and social competencies for learning for pre-kindergarten through age nine. Students will study, develop and evaluate materials and methods appropriate for early education and to authenticate assessment strategies for determining both developmental and academic progress of children from birth to age nine.
