A capstone course for sociology majors. Students will use their knowledge of sociological theory, methods and statistical analysis to implement a research project. Students will engage in all steps of the research process, including the writing of a research paper that is appropriate for publication in a professional sociology journal. Students also will be required to finish constructing their portfolio and participate in the exit interview with other students in the course. Meets the Capstone course requirements in the major. Prerequisites: SO 230, 397 and 495. SO majors only. Senior standing. FA, SP.
