This course serves as the Capstone experience for the social work major. As the Capstone, the course meets the Communication Intensive requirement in the major. In this course, students complete a comprehensive case study project that provides an assessment of their knowledge, skills, and use of social work values and ethics in actual social work practice as they approach graduation. This is offered in a blended course format. The online portion of the course emphasizes identifying and analyzing ethical dilemmas by applying the NASW Code of Ethics, job interviewing skills and professional identity development. This course is for Social Work Majors only. Prerequisite: SW 495 and 497 Co-requisite: SW 463, SW 496. SP.
