An analysis and study of selected topics pertinent to the assessment of educational functioning. Emphasis will be on diagnostic assessment, both formal and informal, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of learning problems occurring in special education settings, or with children needing individualized programming in regular classrooms. Students will administer and interpret several of the currently used assessment instruments. Fee required. Prerequisite: ED 235. SP, odd years.
