The knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to understand the basic organizational structure of the middle school and the necessary competencies to teach in an organization that stresses teamwork and collaboration. The course will provide simulated interdisciplinary team experiences, the opportunities to examine flexible grouping arrangements, block scheduling, effective school components and incorporating advising into the total school program. Prerequisite or coorequisite: ED 315. SP, odd years.
