Lec 1. Prereq: Admission to the University Honors Program or permission. Preparation for conducting an undergraduate project to be used for an Honors or undergraduate thesis. Students explore philosophical aspects of scientific inquiry, including history, the scientific method, and ethics in science. Topics such as individual approaches to research, the selection of projects, time commitments and sources of funding for scholarly work presented by University faculty.
