Lecture, three hours. Role of behavior in etiology, treatment, and prevention of certain diseases. Behavioral intervention including biofeedback, stress-, pain-management, health habit counseling, and other skills to assist patients make cognitive, emotional, and behavioral changes needed to cope with disease or achieve better health. Prerequisite: Psychology and Social Behavior P9 or P11C, or Psychology 7A or 9C, or equivalent. Same as Psychology and Social Behavior P141H.
