Lecture, three hours; discussion, one hour; laboratory, three hours. Short introduction to programming languages and to representative algorithms employed in chemical research. Students have the opportunity to devise and employ their own codes and also to employ codes which are widely used in various fields of chemistry. Corequisite: Chemistry 130B or 131B. Prerequisites: Chemistry 51A-B-C or H52A-B-C and 130A or 131A.
