Includes the mechanisms that control plant growth, hydrology and nutrient cycling, and the roles terrestrial ecosystems play in local and global biogeochemistry. Prerequisite: Biological Sciences E106 or consent of instructor. Same as Biological Sciences E118 and Environmental Analysis and Design E167. Concurrent with Earth System Science 264.
