Independent reading, research, or design under the direction of a faculty member or group of faculty members in Civil Engineering. Students taking individual study for design credit are to submit a written paper to the instructor and to the Undergraduate Student Affairs Office in the School of Engineering. Open only to members of the Campuswide Honors Program who are Civil or Environmental Engineering students. May be repeated for credit as topics vary. (Design units: varies)
