Preliminary issues in teaching subject matter in the secondary schools. Centered on development of competencies needed to assume intern teaching position and concurrent with intensive fieldwork prior to internship, this course explores theories, strategies, and methodologies related to subject matter teaching with an emphasis on diversity of students.
