Structure-function of drug targets emphasizing enzymes, ion channels, and membrane transport proteins. Understanding how the drugs' mechanisms of action contribute to the development of more efficacious and safer drugs. Prerequisites: Chemistry 51B, Biological Sciences E109 and 98 or Chemistry 128.
