Topics include special relativity, wave-particle duality, Bohr atom, basic quantum mechanics, radioactivity, nuclear reactions and particle physics. Lectures and one laboratory period per week. Prerequisites: PHYS 122 and MATH 132. Fall semester, alternate years.
