Prerequisite: PSY 110 This course examines physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development over the lifespan, addressing theories and research on development and its influences: what changes and what remains the same, how people differ in their development, and the nature of the stages we pass through. This course is intended for students who are parents or who plan to be parents, those who plan to pursue careers involving children, adolescents, mature and older adults, and those who wish to have a broader knowledge of their own lives and of psychology in general.
