This course provides the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to performa health assessment of individual clients of all age. Emphasis is placed on taking a comprehensive health history and physical examination and use of appropriate nursing diagnoses. Opportunities are provided to apply assessment skills in a variety of settings. Caring and transcultural concepts are integrated. (prereq: SS-462, TC-452, NU-210; coreq: BI-274, NU-2020)
