Companies that have contributed to the development of the Security+ Certification include IBM,Microsoft, Verisign, the FBI and the US Secret Service. This lab-based course covers general security topics such as access control and virus attacks, basics of cryptography, communication security for remote access, e-mail, wireless networks, operational and organizational security, and infrastructure security.
