This course provides students with the knowledge and hands-on lab-based experience necessary to support personal computers and peripherals. It prepares students for the CompTIA A+ certification examby providing a firmfoundation of technical skills and knowledge. Topics covered include computer bus architecture,memory technologies,microprocessors, disk storage, troubleshooting, and operating systeminstallation and configuration. This course is designed to prepare non-computer literate individuals with the background necessary to enter theMicrosoftMCSE,MCSA, or Novell CNE programs.
