This course is designed as an introduction to engineeringmechanics for electrical engineering technology students. Topics include a brief review of vector algebra; properties of plane areas; equilibriumof particles and rigid bodies in a plane; velocity and acceleration analysis of simple mechanisms; Hooke's Law; and stresses inmembers subjected to axial, torsion and bending loads.
