The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with themodern computer tools required for engineering practice, and teach themhow to apply these tools to solve practical engineering problems. Topics include problemformulation,model development, algorithmdevelopment, and the use of numericalmethods and computer graphics in the solution of engineering problems. Laboratory exercises will involve the use of various numerical and graphical software packages. (prereq:MA-127 or equivalent)
