Description:
-
Consistent conformance to requirements ismost effectively addressed in product design rather than inmanufacturing or through an inspect/sort function. Furthermore, the critical quality issue today is not conformance to tolerance specifications, but ratherminimization of variability. This course covers the basic approaches to statistically designed experiments including hypothesis testing by the use of ANOVA, Analysis ofMeans, Student t, F, Chi-square and Z tests, and decisionmaking by use of statistics, factorial and Taguchimethods.
