Asmanufacturing becomes increasingly automated and faces additional competition, the need for an integrated, efficient production control systembecomes critical. This course provides a quantitative basis for analyzing production. Topics covered include production information processing and flow, forecasting,material requirements planning, inventory control and scheduling. Computer based algorithms are also examined.
