This course covers construction and performance of components that are used in electrohydraulic systems for precise control of power transmission. The components include fixed-displacement and variable-displacement pumps andmotors, proportional and servo valves, and the electronic devices used to drive and control these systems. Laboratory sessions and demonstrations reinforce the lecturematerial. (prereq: Basic Fluid Power Technology Certificate or equivalent, College algebra or equivalent is extremely important)
