This course introduces the data transfer and software aspects of networks common in computing. The layered architecture of themodern Internet is studied with a focus onmany of the common protocols used to transfer information and to provide services. The laboratory projects will provide an opportunity for teams of students to implement servers and clients using some of the protocols. (prereq: CS-3841)
