This is a prerequisite course to be taken by students who have not had one year of high school chemistry or equivalent, with a grade level of B or better. This course includes: classification and properties ofmatter, atomic structure, chemical bonding, chemical equations and calculations, physical states ofmatter, and chemical and physical properties ofmatter and solutions. Laboratory experiments support lecture topics. This is a prerequisite course, and does notmeet the graduation requirements for any programatMSOE. (prereq:MA 125 or two years of high school algebra)
