This elective has been designed to provide students with the third-quarter lab part of a one-year general chemistry course. This allows students tomore thoroughly understand such subjects as thermodynamics, the chemistry of the various phases ofmatter, transitionmetals, solution chemistry and various new technologies such as hydrogen fuel. CH-303 Lab, a one-credit lab course (when taken along with CH-302, a three-credit course), allows students tomeet the general chemistry requirements for graduate school andmedical school, and coversmaterial normally found on theMCAT and FE/PE exams.
