This course is intended to provide amodern treatment of signals and systems at the introductory level. Further, it provides a balanced and integrated treatment of continuous-time and discrete-time forms of signals and systems intended to reflect their roles in engineering practice. The course is designed to prepare students for upper-level courses in biomedical digital signal processing, advancedmedical instrumentation,medical imaging, and feedback control systems.
