An introduction to current research and literature in the biological sciences, with a focus on the skills required to read and write scientifi c literature. Topics will include the various levels and styles of scientifi c writing, ethical conduct in science communication, and the methods and skills required for preparing effective oral, poster, and paper presentations of a scientifi c nature.
