This course begins with a short review of topics in algebra and trigonometry before introducing the student to differential calculus. Topics include algebra of functions, limits, continuity, differentiation of algebraic, trigonometric, exponential and logarithmic functions and applications of the derivative to curve sketching and optimization problems.
