One Credit LA Provides students with an understanding of the methods of conducting survey research and the advantages and disadvantages of each approach. The course focuses on the use of computer technology in survey research and how survey results are analyzed. In addition, students collect data for a survey conducted by the Marist Institute for Public Opinion using computer-assisted telephone interviewing.
