Three Credits LA An introduction to the study of religions and religious experience in North America. This course examines the history, the beliefs, and the impact of religion on American culture. Specific traditions to be explored include indigenous religions, Judaism and Christianity (as well as other major world religions as practiced in America), contemporary religious movements, civil religion, and atheism.
