Four Credits A study of the human hematopoietic system in health and disease states and its relationship to other organ systems. A morphological study of the cellular components of blood and the mechanisms of normal hemostasis plus the pathological changes caused by disease or by anticoagulant therapy. Venipuncture techniques will be used to obtain specimens for testing. Offered every spring. Three-hour lecture, three-hour lab per week. Prerequisites: BIOL 130-131 and CHEM 131-132
