Three Credits LA This course provides students the opportunity to develop the skills and understanding that are essential for further study of many areas of mathematics, including calculus and introductory statistics, and related subjects such as accounting, business, and economics. The topics covered include: linear and quadratic functions and their graphs; exponents and radicals; exponential functions; rational algebraic expressions; and systems of equations. This course may not be used to satisfy the Core Mathematics requirement. Offered in the fall. By placement only.
