Three Credits LA A study of the development of the Laws and Constitution of Britain from the accession of Henry VII through the death of Victoria. Emphasis will be placed on the Tudor reforms, both legal and religious, the confrontation between the Stuarts and the Parliament, the course of development of the Parliament and the Cabinet system from the early Hanoverians through the major reforms of the Victorian era. Offered triennially. Prerequisite: Six credits in history
