Three Credits LA This course establishes a foundation for the understanding of information systems in organizations. Applications and technologies are studied in relation to organization objectives. The student studies different types of systems such as MIS, DSS, EIS and basic applications such as Manufacturing, Finance, and Marketing. The student studies an overview of technology including hardware, software, Internet, World Wide Web, e-Commerce, database, and objects. Offered every semester.
