Readings include the epics of Homer; the lyrics of Sappho; major tragedies of Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides; a comedy by Aristophanes and the literary criticism of Aristotle. Offered in alternate years. (Fulfills the Chronological Contiguous Course requirement for English Literature majors when paired with ENG 361.)
