Three Credits LA The major focus of this course will be the specification, design, and implementation of a sizable software project by a team of student programmers employing the principles of software engineering. To this end, advanced programming topics, such as data abstraction, low-level abstraction, and process abstraction will be reviewed, and UML, design patterns, and a software development strategy such as the unified process will be emphasized. The project and programming assignments will be implemented in a programming language which sufficiently supports the principles of software engineering. Offered every spring.
