One Credit LA One of the fastest growing areas in computing today is the Internet, a global network of networks that has become one of the most popular tools used by research, marketing, education, government, and hobbyists. Through one of its most popular services, the World Wide Web, students have the ability to see graphics and play sound, animation, and video clips. The WWW also lets students access information and communicate with people around the world. This course will introduce the student to the WWW, hypermedia, and the use of web-browser software. Search and retrieval methods, Web chat, and creating original home pages with HTML will also be included. Pre- or Corequisite: CSIS 150
