Two credits LA This laboratory exposes the student to selected inorganic chemical techniques. Topics include electrolysis; reactions in inert atmosphere; optical rotation; non-aqueous solvent experiments; TLC; column chromatography; and magnetic susceptibility. Instrumentation in this course will include: FT-IR, NMR (both liquid and solid phase), UV/Vis spectrophotometer, and a polarimeter. One four-hour laboratory per week. Prerequisites: CHEM 365-366
